About Us
By working with a small network of volunteer advocates, foster caregivers, local veterinarians and shelters, Zia Australian Shepherd Rescue is able to rescue several animals every year.
Address Medical Needs
Evaluate dog medical condition, handle any up-front medical issues, and ensure spay/neuter prior to adoption.
Provide Socialization & Manners Training
Introduce foster dogs to household living including socialization to new people and dogs, house training, and basic manners.
Match Dogs to People
We find that when people are looking for a rescued Australian Shepherd, the best path for success is to match dog personality to people lifestyle. The match is the key!
